Attending Europa League Home Games
Hey all, been a while since I've been on here!

I'm going to be in London on the 16th July which just so happens to be the first leg of the second round of qualifying for Europa League. Now assuming we get through the first round and we have a home game as the first leg what would be the best way to go about getting tickets?

Obviously would be a huge thrill for me considering I previously have never seen our great club play so any help or answers would be very much appreciated

They only reduced the prices when it came to the Final after they'd completely mis-priced the earlier rounds.

I dearly hope they don't make the same mistake this time round, but I suspect they'll bank on us being extra excited about European football being back + Slav + new signings, and get the prices wrong.

Think both rounds are drawn on the 22 nd.. So you should know if were home or away then

The second round is a moot point, as we will have experienced an ignominious defeat in the first amid calls for Bilic to resign.

Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
Inter toto had 11,000 at one game and 7,000 at the next !!

Should get a decent turn out for these times have changed since 1999

Shame they can't be on Saturday instead of Thursday eves

If this is priced at a tenner or less then it will easily sell out... Slav's first home match anyway.

Won't sell out people will be on or just about to go on summer holidays.

Max 30k or as low as 20k if it's crap opponents.

BTW, the final of the Europa League 2016 is in Basle, 36,000 capacity

I can't see it selling out. Towards the later stages it might.

I miss the home leg and I think the whole second round.

Slightly annoying but I hope to be there on the 2nd to welcome the new gaffer.

If they price it sensibly it'll sell out, easy.

Even I might go.

Dunno, first game with the right pricing could see quite a few through the gate to see Slav in the dugout for the first time I reckon, especially with no 'Prestigious' home friendly on the cards.

Crowds will be low like in the Intertoto

Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
Fully dependant on pricing, if the away team will bring any, first leg result etc

Depends on pricing....

What do people think attendances will be like?

Don't think it'll be full but would imagine 25-30k?

Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
Apparently they do the away game 1st seeding for the group stages and not the qualifiers

Buster 4:27 Tue Jun 9
Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
I'd assume that the seeded team being away 1st would continue throughout, but then I'm only guessing.

Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
Hopefully they'll price the tickets for these well. Unsure what level of attendance to expect at this early (or, perhaps only for us) stage of the tournament. But the novelty of new tournament, new manager etc should help to boost the sales..

Buster

Yeah that was my follow up question as to whether we'll know on June 22 whether it'll be at home or away.

Thought I might have to sign up as a member or something to be able to get access to tickets for these games

Re: Attending Europa League Home Games
Does that continue into the second round?

Wouldn't assume we will get past first round. This is West Ham after all.
